The Modern Books and Manuscripts collection at Harvard University's Houghton Library houses letters from Dinah Mulock Craik to writers, artists, and publishers on both sides of the Atlantic. These letters appear in manuscript collections such as the Ticknor & Fields papers, the Joseph Severn papers, and the James Russell Lowell papers. The Houghton letters provide insight into Craik's business relationship with one of her favoured American publishers, as well as her personal relationships with literary luminaries such as James Russell Lowell and Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. Thanks to the Houghton Library at Harvard University for permission to share these TEI-transcriptions.
