                <l>From the North Star the Surveyor drops his plumb-line,</l>
                <l>It untravels down to the Earth, and beyond the Earth through
                    <space/><lb/>the spacious gulfs beneath . . .</l>
                <l>He measures the heights and depths of the heavens:</l>
                <l>Who shall measure the width?</l>
