                <p>I was sorry not to see you this day week – especially as my “talkie-talkie”
                    evenings have come to an abrupt ending – I have not been well &amp; am obliged
                    to take some country air – leaving on or about <date when="--03-25"
                        notAfter="1865" precision="low">March 25<hi rend="superscript"
                        >th</hi></date>: returning home for a few days in May – then vanishing
                    indefinitely for the summer.</p>
                <p>Will you say this to <persName>Miss <unclear reason="illegible">Wynum</unclear></persName> – in case
                    she should call after the <date when="--03-25" notAfter="1865" precision="low"
                            >25<hi rend="superscript">th</hi></date> &amp; find me gone.</p>
                <p>Have you been quite well? – I have scarcely once been in Town or should have
                    called – “done myself the pleasure” of calling I ought politely to say. &amp; in
                    this case politeness would have been truth.</p>
                <p>With kind compliments to your circle – &amp; a wish sincere that I may re-appear
                    there some day – </p>
