<l>SHE kissed me first for courtesy,</l>
<l>But afterwards for love;</l>
<l>No greater joy could come to me,</l>
<l>Nor stranger passion move.</l>
            </lg>

<l>But flight of kisses needs must be</l>
<l>Like autumn leaves that fall,</l>
<l>From love to chilly courtesy,</l>
<l>And so to none at all.</l>
