                <l>TWO butterflies went out at noon</l>
                <l>And waltzed above a stream,</l>
                <l>Then stepped straight through the firmament</l>
                <l>And rested on a beam;</l>
            </lg>

               <l>And then together bore away</l>
               <l>Upon a shining sea,&#x2014;</l>
               <l>Though never yet, in any port,</l>
               <l>Their coming mentioned be.</l>
            </lg>

                <l>If spoken by the distant bird,</l>
                <l>If met in ether sea</l>
                <l>By frigate or by merchantman,</l>
                <l>Report was not to me.</l>
