My dear Sir

I write to say how earnestly I wish that the novel may come out within the ensuing fortnight.

On July 2 nd I purpose leaving Town for some weeks – but unless the book is out & all our arrangements completed it will be a great inconvenience to me – in fact entirely postpone my plans –

I believe your desire for the immediate appearance of the book to be as great as mine – will you therefore, kindly use your authority with the printers &c - to this end.

There is still two-thirds of Vol Volume 3 rd un-printed – – The numerous delays have been no fault of mine – nor I believe of Mr. Hervey’s – I have returned the corrected proofs to him immediately, &, I doubt not, he has done the same to the printers –

You will, I am sure, pardon this not unwarrantable anxiety – of mine, and believe me

Very truly yours DMMulock – 5 Brecknock Crescent Camden Road –
