                    hyphenated at the end of a line, which we have silently emended. Where Craik
                    uses a non-standard spelling, we have encoded both her spelling and the standard
                    Oxford English Dictionary spelling to faciliate searching. The long s is not
                    encoded.</p>

                    come to terms. – I want <measure type="currency">£400</measure> for it – which I
                    believe its honest value. Do you? – &amp; will you give it? – Otherwise will you
                    let me know? –</p>
                <p>When <title corresp="CraikSiteIndex.xml#AgathasHusband">Agatha’s Husband</title>
                    takes its turn at <measure type="currency">2/0</measure> – I would like to
                    revise it also. It is better both for you &amp; me.</p>

Where Craik uses a non-standard spelling, we have encoded both her spelling and the standard Oxford English Dictionary spelling to faciliate searching. The long s is not encoded.

Thank you for the copies of “Ogilvies.” –

I have nearly finished my new novel. – About which, when finished, we were to come to terms. – I want £400 for it – which I believe its honest value. Do you? – & will you give it? – Otherwise will you let me know? –

When Agatha’s Husband takes its turn at 2/0 – I would like to revise it also. It is better both for you & me.
