Linacre, Liverpool Apr April 21:st Gentlemen

Would it not be advisable that Mr. Addey should be written to? – Since, unless he can furnish proof that the copyright of A Hero & “The Little Lychetts” was his in toto — for the 1 st & all succeeding editions, I shall most certainly be obliged to restrain the sale, or hold your firm responsible for any loss that may accrue to me in consequence.—

You will therefore pardon my suggesting that on every account it would be as well that Mr. Addey should be communicated with, & some arrangement come to without delay. –

I truly regret being compelled to take these measures – fully aware that the original cause does not rest with you.

Believe me, Gentlemen your obe dt obediant servant Dinah Mulock –
